How does nfl ensure radio signal between coach and quarterback not intercepted ?

How does the NFL protect someone from tapping into the communication. If it is some type of wireless system how is it secured ? It must be digitally encrypted I would guess.

1. Easy Answer. Every game, they reroute the signal, directly into Bill Belichick's Headset. That way, no one else can hear the signals! :D
2. no clue but its possible some teams have intercepting devices. there are some coaches that are scared of lip readers and there is always that possiblity of cameras.
