Would the Minnesota Vikings defeat the Dallas Cowboys in the Mall of America?
Would the 8-0 Home Minnesota Vikings defeat the Dallas Cowboys, or would they choke on the Playoffs? The Dallas Cowboys have as same number of weapons as the Minnesota Vikings, meanwhile the Vikings have 9 pro bowlers. What would be the key match ups during the game?

- As the saying goes the game will be won in the trench's, with the crowd noise, advantage Vikes
- The key match-up is who wins the line of scrimmage - and the game plans as well. Both of the Viking tackles are huge - but they are much better run blockers than pass blockers. The Vikings need to run the ball consistantly and throw quick 3 step drop type passes - the only time they should go deep is on play action on 1st or 2nd and short downs. On the other side of the ball - the Cowboys will need to use Witten alot - since the new MLB for the Vikings is very weak in pass coverage, and Romo won't have time to go down field with Jared Allen on his back - and they won;t be able to run the ball on the Williams boys. Vikings 27 Cowboys 17
- Well I don't think pro bowlers have implication on these two teams. The keys in this game will be 1. who gets the most pressure on the qb 2. who can establish the running game 3. offensive line!!! While Im biased towards the cowboys, i have a lot of respect for the viking and the team they have this year. It will be a good game, but while the Vikings have been gelling all season, the cowboys have found their grove and I truly believe that what you will see on Sunday. My prediction is cowboys Cowboys take it 30-20.( I want to say 34-17 as a cowboys fan)
- Man I cant wiat until this game is over so there wont be anymore questions about it
- Real simple, no. Cowboys win going away.
- To all the fools out there that think Dallas is going to win,,,,,,,,,WAKE UP!!! If you know ANYTHING about football you'd just look at the plain ole facts. The Vikings have FAR more talent than Dallas and will win this game easily. Everyone is jumping on this Dallas bandwagon that cannot even support the weight of old tub ass Wade Phillips. the Cowboys knocked off New Orleans for the Saints first loss and it seemed all impressive to you simpleton's yet New Orleans barely eeked out wins in the previous three weeks and their weakness' were beginning to show. They then continued to lose. Dallas in the mean time beat who???? Washington and a Philly team that clearly had given up early in both games at the end of their season. Romo will be pressured by Minnesota and he will commit turnovers. Austin is their only legit threat as that WEAK ass running game will be shut down. The Vikings will have problems against either Arizona or New Orleans because their quarterbacks are FAR better than Romo. What a joke how some of you idiots are making comparisons of this Dallas team to the ones of the 90's. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO Dallas is DONE!!!! Get over it. Come Monday the "Is Romo done in Dallas" headlines will be back, Wade Phillips will be back on the hot seat even with one playoff win and the scoreboard in Dallas will again be the only thing they are reporting on in Dallas when it falls during the NBA all star game.
- Dallas all the way no doubt....Dallas is so unpredictable (ask the Saints).4 all that think Dallas is going down that easy think again..Romo has just a good chance as Favre....Favre is sooo over-rated besides they got shut down by the (8-8)Panthers shut Favre n his crew DOWN!!!! so u c Dallas aint layn down lightly we taking this n Minn then we on 2 play the winner of Ari or Saints we have had 8 Super Bowl appearance won 5 out of those 8..we going on 2 win our 6th SuperBowl believe the Hype!
- haha this is funny all of you Dallas fans are total idiots. I am watching the game it 17-3. Dallas es muy terrible. Vikings going to the superbowl says twenty bucks. Interception
- Although, I am answering this after I know that Minnesota spanked the Cowboys, I was expecting a route. It seemed as though the football world was calling the Cowboys the hottest team in the NFL and that simply was wrong. They barely beat the horrible Redskins, the did beat the Saints, who lost 3 straight and technically got beat by the Redskins too so that is not a true test. The Cowboys have been mediocre at best. They did a good job at beating the teams they should beat which is why they won the division, but I would have to say they were probably one of the worst out of all the division champs. They did route the Eagles, but the Eagles get thoroughly beat up a couple of times during the year. The point is that the Cowboys never really beat anybody that good. I think the Cowboys need to find an answer defensively. Until they do that, they won't get far in any playoffs and they better do it fast before the Giants and Redskins put together competitive teams. They had an easy division this year...don't expect that to continue.
