With Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson can the Minnesota Vikings FINALLY win a super bowl?

Like it's now or never. 0-4 in super bowls, could be 1-4 after 2009 season? What are your thoughts on this?

  9. lol i am a Minnesota Vikings fan too... luckly we have them and odds are we will do so much better and just lets hope and see
  10. Not sure about the SuperBowl, but they will be a CONTENDER in the NFC. I actually think they'll go all the way. Just got to contend with The Pats if you ask me.

  15. No. This is not the Favre we remember running around the Superdome after throwing a TD pass. This is not the Favre we remember going to the sideline and talking to Mike Holmgren about calming down. This is Favre who thinks he defies physics and throws passes into the stupidest of places. This is the Favre who threw a direct pass to Corey Webster in the NFC title game a few years ago. This is Favre who throws INT's and then shrugs his shoulders at the coach when they try to tell him to stop. As for the rest of the team, last I remember the Williams' are still suspended the first four games of the season. That is going to eat up their run defense and their pass rush. The receivers are still suspect. I saw a report on CNNSI that said that receivers were dropping the ball in drills because Favre was throwing them too hard. Are they a playoff team? Well, in a weak NFC North, yes. But are they a Super Bowl contender, I don't think so.
  16. They are a good team but they are nowhere close to being Super Bowl contenders. Those delusional fans need to realize that Favre isn't the same type of QB he was 10 years ago. They are most likely playoff contenders but that is how far they will get.
  17. They can win it. This is their best chance in years! As a lifetime fan I've never had big expectations for the Vikings until now! If I had to pick five teams with the best shot at winning it all the Vikings would be in that group. Go Vikings!!!!!!
  18. With Brett you may get to the playoffs... buuuut..!! oooh nooo... he will throw and interception in the overtime...!
  19. They still aren't the best team in the division - that would be the Packers - and they won't even make the playoffs. AD will miss at least 2 games due to injury and Favre will fall apart during the 2nd half of the season again.
